The Black Wall
I dove into the heart of Skid Row in 2011 taking the time to listen to the people who live, work, or simply pass through this overlooked part of the city. What started as a simple project became something much deeper. I didn’t just capture photos—I built trust with complete strangers, and their stories began to feel personal. This zine is a collection of those moments, offering a glimpse into lives that are too often ignored and showing the humanity behind the labels.
